  • I used to use this app regularly because it had better options for Chinese food and you can also bundle. I stopped because of two things: *lack of drivers means food is always estimated to take almost 2hrs during meal times, and they are almost always late and past their estimated time *customer service - if something goes wrong, good luck trying to get your money back or canceling. You can wait for old cold food or idk, get sassed by an agent.

  • At the beginning it worked well. But after a while it took 2 hours for them to deliver over-cooked and the only reimbursement they provide is 3 dollars in-app credit, which means you could get the reimbursement only if you order food again on their app. I never wrote a google review before but this time I feel like I must write it out. Don't use this app unless you want to wait for 2 hours to get your over-cooked food.

  • Used to order deliveries alot from Chowbus as they have long distance delivery options. BUT, the APP GLITCHES frequently!!! Especially when you use the search cuisines or restaurants function. The app made my order from delivery to pick up, letting me order from restaurants outside the range when I already put in my address for delivery, confusing confirmation... then Chowbus rep keep blaming the customer for what their glitchy app did. 100K downloads but only 2K reviews at 4.5 stars? Doubt it.

  • It's good when it works! Malfunctions a lot :( suggestion is to have closing times for restaurants! I don't like to order right before close. I think it's rude to the restaurant. Also sometimes I'll be ordering and the store closes as I'm ordering since there is no way to know when the restaurant closes.)

  • Can't reach any customer service, in person or online. The restaurant I ordered from was closed for what looks like renovation when I got there, and I have no way to contact anyone for a refund.

  • At the presence of COVID-19, many other delivery services has cancelled delivery fees for all users. However, this one keeps its membership fee, and adds a strange packing fee that didn't exist before for grocery. This just sucks! Plus that they silently added transaction fee without noticing their users a few months ago, I find it really hard to trust them anymore.
