  • was good when I first got the app. So i paid for premium. I wish i hadn't! Now i get results that are clearly wrong - and different results for near identical photos i take of the same plant. Then i can't find a way to go back to photos and results once I've left the results screen - maybe this is just user uselessness, but the interface is not helpful

  • Pretty ad heavy, which I wouldn't mind if it worked well. The inclusion of ads to buy plant food, or buy the plants, are honestly not too obtrusive. Now the problems: 1. The plant identification accuracy just doesn't seem that good - it often chooses things with very little resemblance; 2. The comparison images so you can verify visually are awful. They have terrible stock photos covered with stock photo labels, and at low resolution. 3. It looks like it may well not use GPS data from photos.

  • Paid for premium a couple of days ago. For 2 days this worked, though the map feature that is a big part of it is very frustrating. After each zoom or movement you need to wait for it to update, during which time no further gestures are accepted. Can't describe how irksome that is. Now my premium features have stopped working altogether, and am having to watch an ad for every 3 snaps... EXCEPT that isn't working either. I keep watching ads again and again but still can't actually take any snaps

  • This app has potential, but in its efforts to make it "effortless", this app is unnecessarily hamstrung. For example, 99% of users of this app know difference between a tree, a shrub and a flower, yet this vital piece of info cannot be inputted. All my early attempts at identification of trees via photos of leaves only, returned non-trees as app suggestions. Further, most trees have distinctive bark - some uniquely distinctive, yet this highly helpful info again cannot be inputted.

  • This app was never user friendly but it has only gotten worse. You used to be able to scroll through possible matches for a snap but now you have to "decline" potential IDs one by one. I can't find a way to go back if you accidentally declined an ID and I think it's I sane that you can't see them all at once. Maybe if you're a botanist you can tell from one stupidly cropped stock photo of a plant what it is but I don't feel comfortable ruling something out without looking at the other options.

  • I like the concept and desperately need this app, however, this app is not very accurate. It doesn't tell you a definitive answer. It lists a few possible plants it could be and you have to look at them all, comparing photos and make your own decision. Sometimes the choices it brings up are way. I need the app to be smarter than me. I also need it to recognize trees and if something is a weed or not.
