  • Nice app. Works well. But messaging tools need work. WRITING MESSAGE. It disables too much (presumably for security, but it makes it difficult to use. Disables spellchecker, also paste tool, (I always compose my notes on my notepad, then copy to online space). Wouldn't use £ sigh (important if talking about money). ACCESSING MESSAGENG: I needed to copy important info from my message, it wouldn't let me copy or screenshot. I had to waste time with pen and paper, or go to PC to screenshot.

  • It works fine, but as I can't make any mortgage payments on the app it feels a bit useless. All I can do is see the value of my mortgage and any recent transactions. So it's basically the same as a pdf, I'd rather that was just emailed to me than the hassle of setting up an app with mfa that I have to wait on the post to be able to register. Unless further activity is added to the app I won't be using it again. On the plus side I think it's easy to use and understand.

  • Unable to rate this anything higher as I can't even log in. Apparently a known bug, but would like to know when it will be fixed. Update did not fix the problem, but I have also realised that my screen filter (Twilight) was blocking interaction. Can now use the app with ease.

  • My first mortgage was granted with the Skipton and I have had my mortgage with the Skipton continuously now for 9 years. Have stayed with them continuously both at my previous property and when I moved to a new property in 2020, as they have provided outstanding service and support. Always professional, supportive and informative, the Skipton provide a great range of mortgage options. Highly recommended!

  • I agree with the reviews already here. This is the most ridiculous set up ever in on line banking. I have similar set up with 3 other financial outlets, none of them take me through this mid boggling mess. Only Skipton ask us to use an App. WHY! Have been on line banking for many years. Never had any issues with other providers. Given up with Skipton. Perhaps I'll pop into branch and close the accounts.........

  • As stated by some others the major flaw in the app is you can't make payments (or overpayments). How can that be in this day and age when it's their own app? Also worth noting is that although you can see your mortgage balance, the payments page does not show you how the overall balance has reduced month on month just the new balance figure. It would be nice to see a fuller statement.
