  • Very buggy app. Especially on Android TV's. Fails to stream very frequently and freezes a lot. I have to keep force stopping the app and then reopening it again to try and stream. Also, subtitles are still present even when you turn them off which is highly annoying when watching dubbed content. For all the above reasons I will not be getting a premium subscription. Pretty sad, this service is exactly what I needed but due to the bugs I will not as it is more a pain than anything else

  • can't watch something in English and have subtitles. has to be in another language for English subtitles to show up, even when set to closed captioning. have reported this many times and it is never addressed. little to no care about accessibility. Edit; this is EVERY show that is available in English audio. The option won't even show up for subtitles if you have English audio on. I've sent a contact before, nothing happens. I've sent it again, still waiting.

  • This crumby app seems to think I'm streaming it on another device when I'm not. I'm tired of having to have it constantly retry to see my episodes. It also has resuming issues when I try to return to an episode I left off on. It sometimes starts at the beginning again. It also has only partial coverage on the skip intros. Not all intros can be skipped. I cancelled my subscription due to very poor service.

  • this streaming service is inconsistent. it's a SONY company and the servers should be flawless but after 2-3 episodes it starts to buffer and then stops and kicks me out. I quit using Crunchyroll for a couple of years for that same reason until there was an anime I wanted to watch. however the problem isn't fixed and it doesn't matter which TV I watch, brand new too of the line Sony or a Phillips, the service is very glitchy. That is my experience before Sony bought it and after.

  • Phone restarts a few seconds after I start watching a video. It started after the latest update, my phone restarts every time I watch a video using the app. This forced me to watch through my phone browser. Surprisingly, I don't get the same issue using my browser to watch videos on crunchyroll. The app is we much can convenient but I can't use it since my phone will just keep restarting. I hope this will get fixed. Thanks!

  • Lags after 4 episodes, usually locks up taking a force stop to clear. You can't scroll the similar list under a show without fussing to with it. This behavior has gotten worse since the past update. Then there is getting to your desired content; you can't browse by dubs, or see by a glance like you can on the website an which is an added pain. And then once you find something it randomly goes into infinite loading loops, taking backing out 1-4 times to sort out... I could go on, but 500 chars...
