  • I used to be a very frequent user of untappd. The new barcode scanner is the worst and very annoying. It picks up parts of the code and it can never get the full code. Also, with the removal of the green bar that was placed in the middle of the code it is very hard to center and to focus on the barcode. I trully hate the new version. LATER EDIT: Thank you for modifying the scan feature. Now it works very good and I'm a very happy user of Untappd.

  • Navigation issues have been largely resolved, for example, you no longer totally lose your place after checking into a beer. But I still don't see a way to change the default sort for a venue menu. It's several taps in order to sort the menu the way I want. A user-specific default sort is an easy and obvious feature to implement, but still missing.

  • This app used to be great and perfect in many ways. The update has changed most of that. The check in experience has become awful, as it stays on the screen with the beer you just checked in, instead of reverting to the previous screen. The in-app camera is unusable, you can't even click on the screen to focus. The new default dark mode takes some getting used to, but I can do that. I really hope the devs will work to improve these really bad changes.

  • Beyond useless unless you have a very strong signal. [Edit]. Connectivity has improved considerably. The new scanner is way quicker than the previous one and is now a useful tool in the app. The beer search algorithm still needs masses of work. The one thing I still want from this app is to see my score for a beer when all the beers come up on a list in a verified venue. I often want to go back to a beer i really liked and don't want to open every beer to see what score I gave it last time.

  • It used to be great, but now it crashes and messed up lot-- especially when trying to take a picture. It's been this way a long time. Can't you roll back the update which broke this? It crashes for all my friends, too. Also, when I select a verified venue and select a beer from that venue, why do I still have to search for the venue? It should know where I am. The "Feedback" option doesn't work. Feature request: "rate a venue" option.

  • Awful update. When the app is not constantly asking me to turn on my location, I can barely navigate. Clicking one link loads after 5s at best, then after a few times, it just stops working. I can't see venues' menu because it just won't load. I didn't even dare checking-in yet. I was planning to become a supporter, but clearly, it's out of question now. My phone may not be the newest flagship, but all other apps work fine. A huge disappointment.
