Genshin Impact Fans Can Snag Exclusive PS5 Bundle in Select Regions
PlayStation and HoYoverse have released a new Genshin Impact PS5 bundle featuring a number of in-game items and currency, including Primogems and Mora. The new Genshin Impact PS5 bundle is sold in a few select regions only, however.
Genshin Impact Version 4.8 launched on July 17 as the final update for the Fontaine region before Version 5.0, which will mark the arrival of Natlan. Before players venture into Natlan, they can explore the new Simulanka summer map and set out on a journey with Kirara, Nilou, Navia, and the Wanderer. In Version 4.8, players will experience new stories and seasonal activities that explore the distinct land of Simulanka and uncover its lore. This same week, PlayStation unveiled its new Genshin Impact PS5 bundle.
As reported by Push Square, PlayStation is now selling a Genshin Impact PS5 bundle in Japan featuring the Slim version of the console with a disc drive, a DualSense controller, and a special gift bundle voucher for 66,980 yen, or roughly $428. Once redeemed, the Genshin Impact gift bundle grants the player the Festive Namecard "Celebration: Lenticular Clouds," 800 Primogems, 10 Hero's Wit, 100,000 Mora, and a costume exchange ticket. The costume exchange ticket may be used to claim an outfit for Ganyu, Klee, Kamisato Ayaka, Keqing, Ningguang, Jean, Barbara, Kaeya, Lisa, or Fischl in Genshin Impact's in-game shop at no additional cost. This PS5 bundle is also available in China and Taiwan, but HoYoverse has not confirmed whether the bundle will be sold in regions outside Asia, such as North America and Europe.

According to the PlayStation Blog post, the Genshin Impact gift bundle may only be redeemed with an account pertaining to the console's associated region. For example, purchasing the Japanese Genshin Impact PS5 bundle will require the user to use a Japanese PlayStation Network account to redeem the code in the PlayStation Store. The code will expire on July 30, 2026, giving customers plenty of time to redeem their rewards. Moreover, the PS5 Slim console requires an internet connection in order to pair the console's disc drive.
Although the PS5 bundle is limited to a few regions, Genshin Impact players around the world can still receive similar rewards by participating in Version 4.8's summer events. With Genshin Impact Version 5.0 on the horizon, it's only a matter of time before another special program will be broadcast by HoYoverse to reveal new information about Natlan, new main story quests, playable characters, and upcoming events. Viewers can expect to receive various promo codes to redeem for additional rewards as well. Version 5.0 is expected to launch in late August, so it will be a notable month for Genshin Impact.
