Electronic Arts has promised to fix Stanford University's outdated logo in EA Sports College Football 25 soon. The game, which marks the first release in the NCAA Football franchise in 11 years, was launched in early access for gamers who purchased the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle, and has seen a pretty popular launch despite several flaws.

One of the issues discovered by gamers during the early access period was that the game was using an outdated logo for Stanford University. Instead of the current logo, which has been in use since 2015 and features a white tree behind a red capital S, College Football 25 uses a logo with a red tree behind a white capital S. EA has officially acknowledged that "certain schools" such as Stanford, Western Michigan, and Jacksonville State have "outdated logos" and will be fixing the problem with the first round of patches in around two weeks.

Interestingly, the correct Stanford logo does appear in the game, being currently used on helmets and at the center of the field, but it's still wrong on the scoreboard of the Stanford University stadium. Despite these initial challenges, the title has still been a massive success, with over 700,000 players online already.
