FIFAe is set to host its inaugural multi-title football esports event from August 28 to September 1, marking a significant milestone in the world of digital sports. This groundbreaking event will spotlight popular football titles such as Football Manager and eFootball™, uniting fans and players from different gaming communities under one banner.

The FIFAe Next Gen event was conceived in response to the growing enthusiasm for diversifying football esports competitions. It aims to create a dynamic platform where new communities across the globe can engage with the FIFAe ecosystem, expanding its reach and influence.

To add to the excitement, VisitLiverpool has partnered with FIFAe, becoming the Official Sponsor of the FIFAe Next Gen 2024. The event will take place at the iconic Exhibition Centre Liverpool, in a city renowned for its deep-rooted passion for football.

Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, expressed his excitement, stating, "Liverpool is a city that thrives on football, community, and major events. Hosting the first FIFAe Next Gen event here aligns perfectly with our vibrant digital and gaming sectors. This event not only enhances our reputation as an esports hub but also brings significant economic benefits through tourism, hospitality, and retail."

The event will feature 20 national teams, each represented by a manager and an assistant manager, competing in the first-ever FIFAe World Cup™ with Football Manager. These teams will battle it out from August 28 to September 1 for the title of world champion and a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

The final two days of the competition will be streamed live, with Spencer ‘SpencerFC’ Owen hosting a special show focused on football, tactics, and Football Manager. Fans can tune in from August 31 to catch all the action.

Spencer Owen shared his thoughts on the event, saying, "This event bridges the gap between esports and traditional football, bringing together fans and players from across the globe in one of football’s most storied cities. Make sure to tune in—it’s going to be an unforgettable experience!"
