WWE superstar Randy Orton recently shared that he has logged over 600 hours in the critically acclaimed game Elden Ring. While Elden Ring has captured the hearts of many gamers, few have invested as much time exploring its vast world as Orton.

For fans who closely follow his career, Orton's passion for Elden Ring isn't surprising. In 2022, he openly discussed his love for the game, revealing that he had reached Level 527. Although it was later disclosed that he spent $1,000 to have someone boost him to Level 100, Orton’s genuine appreciation for the game has always been evident.

During a recent interview with WWE champion Cody Rhodes on the "What Do You Wanna Talk About" video series, Orton unveiled his staggering 600-hour playtime in Elden Ring. Around the 20-minute mark of the interview, Orton explained that he has long been a fan of the game and, after undergoing spinal fusion surgery, found himself with ample time to immerse himself even further into the game. He also mentioned that he has been enjoying the new Shadow of the Erdtree DLC since its release. To put Orton's dedication into perspective, completing Elden Ring and its DLC as a completionist typically takes around 180 hours, according to How Long to Beat.

This isn’t the first time Orton has shared his gaming habits with the public. Last year, he revealed that he had spent around 50 hours playing Starfield, another expansive open-world game. However, he didn't delve into the specifics of how he spent that time.

Orton’s deep connection with Elden Ring is understandable, given that the game is FromSoftware’s biggest success to date. In 2023, the creators of Elden Ring reflected on the game’s overwhelming popularity, admitting they weren’t entirely sure why it resonated with so many players, but they speculated it was due to the game’s unparalleled freedom.

This year, Elden Ring continues its legacy with the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which has already sold five million copies in just three days. The DLC has become one of the highest-rated expansions of all time, proving that the game’s allure is far from fading.
